This message is centered towards the believers in the church. I have a question for us all. If the Bible tells us that by His stripes we are healed at what point do we start believing this to be true? Is it after we get sick or in need of a healing? Or is it before the time we become ill? This is a message only to create within you to search for the answers. If we are healed and were healed then why do we not believe it? I know that in this world there are so many diseases and the news reports are full of things that are running ramped through out the world. What if we took this word and applied it to us everyday before we become sick or in need. I find that many have used the passage of scripture that says IF ANY sick among you let them call for the elders of the church and pray the prayer of faith. I have yet another question with this passage. The word IF, does it leave a door open to us as to expect to be sick? We have the kingdom of God within us I am sure most believers will agree with this fact. But if the Kingdom of God is within us then why are we having so many problems? Could it be that we are expecting to be sick or have problems then Jesus can deliver us. When in fact here is a bit of truth for us to think about. How about not expecting problems and sickness and believing for total healing of the mind soul and body before we come to the point of needing it. What I am trying to say is God lives within us and He is all power and the great I AM then why not allow His power to block out any of these things. Head them off at the pass so to speak. THIS IS not to say those that are affected with things in this live are not serving the Lord and that they do love the Lord. But what if we were taught that we are already healed by his stripes before the fact? I know that many feel and will think we have to be tested and to go through things that make us strong. But the question still arrives why is the need to accept bad things when every good thing or gift is from God.
