As for me I would rather be sitting at the feet of Jesus any day than to be standing in a high place in those buildings that do not accept the women of God.
There is a ministry in the Bible of women that minister to him and are not concerned with others; their whole focus is on the Lord Jesus Christ. Read it for yourself St. Luke 10:38-42 this is a powerful message to us what a wonderful place Mary was, but Martha was troubled about many things.
Mary's place was the most blessed place to be. Being in this place means, he is going to talk to you, he is going to hear you, he is going to touch you, he is going to heal you and most of all when he moves, and you will be the first one to know. Praise the Lord.
Men are more as concerned as to who is in control and the real truth is men are no more in control that women are, when it comes to the church. The fact is God is the one that is suppose to be in control not man, not woman.
St. Mark 14:3 tells of being at the feet of Jesus, St. Like 7:37, tells of washing his feet with tears and drying them with her hair.
This is where the passage of scripture comes into view Galatians 3: 28 that tells us there are neither male or female in the church of Christ, see God does not care one bit about all the words we are able to say nor is he concerned with who is standing where when we assemble into a house to worship, no not at all. He is watching to see who is humbled and are willing to give him all praise and all glory, not a man.
What he is really telling us is to stop all this nonsense of who is who and to get back to focusing on him and him alone.
Now you see where we have gotten off the path of what being a believer is all about , many are so concerned as to who, what, where, and when. All this debate about women or men doing a work for the Lord has done nothing but take the focus off from the Lord.
So being at the feet of Jesus is a wonderful place to be and I have no problem with being close to him for I have no desire to please man. My desire is to please the Lord and be his servant.
I count it a place of blessing to hear his voice, to have him come to me in visions and dreams; I count it such a blessing to have him teach me the word and his wonderful message that whosoever will let him come to him.
I would rather be sitting at the feet of Jesus listening to him teach me rather than someone with a complex any day. As for me I feel very blessed to be called to minister to the Lord Jesus Christ. I consider it an honored to be called to be close to Jesus Christ, I will stay close by him and have no desire to know if anyone else is accepting me or not, just as long as I know he does. Praise the Lord.
Enough time has been wasted on the battles of men and women in the work of the Lord; it is time to get back to being all about the Lord Jesus Christ.
