Why are so many believers bound and do not experience freedom in the spirit? Where has all the spiritual freedom gone too?

What happened on the day of Pentecost can still take place on this Earth today, but there are some things that many have been leaving out as to why this experience has not been taking place as it should.

One has to go back to the day that the spirit of the Holy Ghost was poured out on all those people in the upper room and check out what they were all doing and how they actually got to the place that the spirit of the Lord manifested in the very midst and filled them with the Holy Ghost .They were waiting for the outpouring of the Holy Ghost all in one mind.

Jesus had promised if they would go to the upper room and there wait for the spirit to come into their midst and to fill them. They followed the instructions of the Lord and the rest is history as we all know.

But why is it, we hear so little about an outpouring of the Holy Ghost, as it was on the day of Pentecost? I know that there are moves of the spirit across the land but what about you and the churches? Is the manifestation of the spirit of the Lord taking place as you or your church so desires to experience? Have there been the healings, deliverances and saturation of the spirit of God that should be in your life?

As I have studied some of the great moves of God such as what took place on Azusa Street in California and the great Welsh Revival. I noticed a pattern that took place those people gathered with a true hunger for more of God on their minds.

These people started out searching for something real and they had a hunger for more of the spirit of the Lord and did not care about a particular denomination. They all came together with one thing in mind and that was to worship and praise the Lord and to see the miraculous take place.

And so they truly did experience a great move of God for a while, up until man started moving in with his own beliefs and systems. The spirit of man wanted to infiltrate the moving of the spirit of the Lord and soon it was shut down.

The children of God have got to get out of the mode of promoting a particular belief, such as their denomination, or doctrines. All that these actions are brining about is bondage. If there is no freedom in the spirit then it is a waste of time.

These two things have become the mass hindrances, promoting ones beliefs and denominations have put the children of God back into bondage almost as much as the Israelite children before being lead out of Egypt.

The teaching that has been taking place may all sound good and those that are presenting the teaching may sound as if they truly know what they are talking about but the question must be asked is this teaching or the presentation brining about a move of God? Where is the freedom in the spirit of the Lord?

What has been going on with many today? Have the lost receive salvation, has healings, deliverances been taking place in the people’s lives, has the spirit of God been allowed to move freely in the midst of the people, as it was promised to all mankind?

Here are the facts; if you are truly hungry for a move of God, then it is going to have to be looking to God and stop following along man and his ways. This is doing nothing more than taking you back into more bondage than when you first started out.

Many books and sermons have been written on how to receive an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Much has been said and taught on how to be free in the spirit of the Lord etc. But does it actually bring about a real experience in God?

You can pick up a book and as soon as you start reading, it starts by presenting a certain belief or doctrine trying to prove that their way is the only right way and all this is doing is causing a hindrance of the real true move of God.

Remember the scripture says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty”. 2 Corinthians 3:17. Liberty means freedom, not bound to man ways. Free from the things that hinder the move of the spirit of the Lord.

If you want a real move of God to take place in your life then seek the one that is going to be pouring it out to you. Try forgetting about all you have heard and read on how to receive and just sincerely seek the spirit of the Lord. As they did on the day of Pentecost or as they did on Azusa Street and many of the others great moves of the spirit of the Lord. Those people came in with only one thing on their mind and that was the Lord.

Those that are going to experience an outpouring of the Holy Ghost are not going to be all tied up with mans ways and concerned as to who is in charge. God must be in charge.

If you want a real move of God and an outpouring of the Holy Ghost then turn to God, get your mind on Him and Him alone. Humble yourself and forget about what others may think or even say.

Get yourself together with the Lord and focus on the Lord by worshiping Him and praising Him.

The people of God are going to have to get back to being humbled and stop all this head knowledge kick that they are on and get before the Lord and realize just how much we all really need the Lord.

Many are brained washed into believing that they need to be taught the word before the word will work for them, What I have to say about that is, try telling those people that had no clue about God that were slain in the spirit while they were walking pass as the worship services was taking place inside or those that were not even close by received an experience with the Lord such as healings and deliverances.

 Some of these people that received an experience with the Lord had no previous knowledge of how the spirit of the Lord even worked. These things were taking place outside the walls and out onto the streets while the people were gathered together in services and it had nothing to do with who was in charge.

 I hope you are getting a clear picture as to why the spirit of the Lord has been shut down in many cases. It is due to man wanting to be in control and in charge.
