Seeking the
desires of your heart can become confusing at times and knowing God for your life.
How is a person supposed to know the difference between desiring the will of God and
desiring to satisfy the flesh?
This has been
a mind stopper for many and most of the time what you hear from others or perhaps even you telling yourself are, you better
know the will of God or you better do this or that. This only brings about more confusion.
Here is a bit of knowledge for you to think about. What is so wrong on just waiting for
the answer to be revealed to you or most of all using common sense of reality?
Would it not
be better to be found waiting to know or just jumping out into the dark hoping you are making the right decision?
So many times a person can feel pressured into getting in a big ole hurry and get up
and just go to running toward whatever is out there.
This type of
conduct can only lead you down a wrong pathway and you will find yourself going through a lot of trouble that God never intended
for you to go through.
But because
of getting in a hurry and making irrational decisions not knowing where you are even headed and thinking whatever you do that
God can make everything all right and successful is a far cry from the truth.
The fact is
many are doing things and going places that God had nothing to do with and how do you expect God to fight your battles and
go along with what you want and acting as though you could care less about if it is the will of the Lord or not?
I know you have
heard that time is passing by and it would be best to step out and try something but here is a question for you. Do you really
think that God is not patient and if God is patient why you in such a rush to be doing anything? As long as you think this
way then you have more lessons to learn.
Here is something
I want to share with you. There has been times as of lately that I felt that I was stuck in a place and had no way of getting
out and doing a work for the Lord. I have known that I have at least four more years to complete for right now.
Times I felt
to ask God to forgive me because I felt I was not doing anything for the Lord. But here is what came to me as far as wisdom.
If the Lord
really had something He wanted me to do then He would make the way. Most importantly I would never want to cause the Lord
to be ashamed of me because I was not ready or went running ahead of the Lord.
So I looked
across the room and thought what I have to do is right before me and until the Lord says to do something different then I
shall do the best I can for Him ,I shall continue to write.
In conclusion you need to ask yourself this question, do I know what I am doing is
God’s will?
My prayer is
that you ask God to search your heart and examine your motives as to why you desire something and or doing something just
because you can.
May God bless you, Sonja
